How I Learnt English?

 

It was the year 1970 and I joined my first job, fresh from the university. I had to work with people from different parts of India and I was not much conversant with English language. Also I could not communicate properly with my boss in English.It was a must learn situation and I took it as a challenge to learn English. There was no guidance at that time and I took a decision to read one English paper completely, from first page to last page.I started reading the news paper with the help of a dictionary and it took almost two months to complete. I used to come across some words repeated in the news paper.During the course of time I used to speak the new words picked up from the news paper. Simultaneously I used to hire novels of James Hadley Chase from a second hand book shop and read the same. It took six months to talk English with out fear or shyness for me and there was no looking back from then onwards. I consolidated what i picked up and went on talking fluent English. It was a long journey of 37 years sustained industrial experience where I went on learning English.

Language learning is a continuous process and there is no end for this.

Spoken  English classes are in progress and the syllabus is divided in to two modules of 30 days each.

The first module deals with basics of grammar and general sentences.The second module concentrates on role plays, reading and audio sessions.For students who wish to continue beyond two modules special concession is given in the fee. Personal care is taken to impart excellent coaching to the students.
